În articol sunt abordate – ţinând cont de fonul istoric – circumstanţele şi cauzele mutării reprezentanţilor neamului valah Corbea în Hetmanatul căzăcesc din Ucraina. O atenţie deosebită se acordă activităţii diplomatice a fraţilor David şi Teodor Corbea. În special, sunt relevate oportunităţile de carieră ale lui Teodor şi ale fiului său Mihail Corbe, care posedau moşii în regimentul Pereiaslav.

The article considers, taking into account the historical background, the circumstances and reasons for the resettlement of representatives of the Wallachian family of Corbea to Ukraine-Hetmanate. Special attention is paid to the diplomatic activities of the brothers David and Feodor Corbea, and in particular to the new career opportunities of Feodor and his son Mikhail Korbe, who owned estates in the Pereyaslav Regiment.
