<dc:description xml:lang='en'><p>The article addresses the problem of re-contextualizing Ion Druță&rsquo;s theater (by theater meaning the dramaturgical text and the show) from the point of view of the changes in the field of knowledge, of the development of sciences and of the paradigm changes. The investigated period includes the 1990s &ndash; present. The research of the Druţian theater in the Republic of Moldova, starting with the 1990s, focused on some aspects concerning the time and the space of the dramatic action, the cinematographic vision of the author, the music in shows, religious and historical motifs in the structure of the text, etc., all constituting, in principle, starting points for further research. Other issues regarding cultural and national identity, the valorization of ancient myth or history in the author&rsquo;s theater are addressed by researchers from other countries in articles and doctoral theses. We insist on some of the interpretations in the article, emphasizing the need to update the investigation of the cultural memory through the artistic imaginary of the creative individuality.</p></dc:description>
