In the catalog of folk ensembles developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, 259 artistic groups for different age categories are included. They operate in all districts and municipalities in the country. Art studios, ethnofolkloric, choreographic ensembles for children and youth enjoy a great success and appreciation. Created during the period of independence of the Republic of Moldova, they eventually became true ambassadors of culture, promoting traditions and customs, folk costumes, melodies and folk dances from different regions. Several generations of pupils and students have been active in the ensembles. The collectives stand out by promoting an authentic repertoire. It consists of doines, carols, greetings, myrtle songs, ballads, chorus, beat, traditional games for children, winter customs and traditions, wedding, family, etc. All these have increased the performances of the teams, making numerous tours, successfully placing themselves in high-performing places at national and international festivals, held in the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Germany, France, Lithuania, Macedonia, Holland, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary etc. |
