Rezumat

Starting from the major importance of the human resources of the organization to ensure the efficiency of its activity, in the present article we tried to highlight the risks to which the employee is subjected by performing working tasks. We have found that in the 21st century, the psychosocial risks have a great impact on the health of employees, which are generated by the inadequate conception, organization and management of the activity, as well as by an inappropriate social context at work. Work-related stress is one of the risk factors that can occur in any workplace and is often difficult to manage. We have mentioned what are the work conditions that can cause stress. It is becoming increasingly important to prevent its occurrence. In this sense, a special place is given to the risk management related to stress. The stages of this process are also presented, as well as the possibilities to reduce the risk of work-related stress. Keywords: human resources, working place, occupational risk, psychosocial risk, stress, risk management.
