Diplocorpon rosae Wolf fungi produce a disease called “black spot of rose”, considered to be a very serious disease for roses, in Iaşi area especially in the years with frequent and abundant rains it was observed that the fungi attacks leaves, branches, stipuls, sepals and when the attack is very strong the spots goes on even on the flowers ’petals. In Iaşi conditions we observe that the fungi hibernates under the form of conidio stroma on the branches and leaves failed down on the soil in autumn and remained there till next spring. In the years with gently winters it was observed a small amount of conidios kept their health and could produce primary infections early in spring. |
