The Digital Generation student, the Internet and IT Games – Generation student, the Mobil-phone and Social Network Generation student, gradually developed in the last two decades is described in several studies of the lasts two decades. From these studies appears that this generation develops new ways of access, work and management of the information. They develop new learning stiles that can be remarkably used in school, if the learning methods would be actualised and progressively adapted to theirs’ competences, resulted from the computer games and network navigation. The present paper is a short glimpse of the characteristics of the new students we confront in class. It presents an initiative of the Ministry of Education in Romania that could be a solution to the learning problems these students confront in school.
