In 2012 the British-Ukrainian expedition continued investigations at the Trypillian culture settlement near Nebelivka. The main aim of the field season was exploration of the largest object in the area (about 20×60 m), which was detected in 2012 by magnetic prospection. The investigations were funded by AHRC (Grant No. AH/I025867: 2012-2016) and the National Geographic Society (Grant No. 2012/211). Results of the excavations have confirmed the size of the site and have provided important information on this structure.

În anul 2012, în cadrul proiectului ştiinţifi c „The Tripillia Mega-Sites Project” (Early urbanism in prehistoric Europe: the case of the Tripillia mega-sites) expediţia ucraineano-britanică a continuat investigaţiile arheologice la aşezarea-gigant de lângă satul Nebelivka. Cercetările au fost posibile graţie susţinerii din partea Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) (Grant No. AH/I025867: 2012-2016), precum şi National Geographic Society (Grant No. 2012/211). Au fost investigate vestigiile unei construcţii de proporţii deosebit de mari 21×60 m, numită, respectiv, mega-structură. Aceasta se deosebeşte de construcţiile tripoliene cunoscute până acum prin: dimensiunile gigantice, planimetria neobişnuită, particularităţile construcţiei, detaliile de amenajare a interiorului.
