Rezumat

The objectives of the paper: Determining the share of the dynamic component of the day for students (boys, girls) in the urban environment and the hygienic assessment of the results.2. Establishing the students’ daily energy expenditure.3. Determining the share of students’ energy expenditure during the physical education lesson in relation to daily energy consumption.Research methods: student survey, pedometry, mathematical-statistical methods for processing the results. It was established that 10-11 year old students from the urban environment have a lower share of the dynamic component of the day, compared to the hygienic norm of age and sex. The deficit of the actual daily energy expenditure of boys is 40%, and of girls 53% in relation to the hygienic norm. Physical education lessons with a training character have a certain importance in increasing the daily energy expenditure of students, their share constituting about 20% for boys and 29% for girls of the share of daily energy consumption, which is important, but insufficient to combat hypokinesia the students. In addition to the organization of physical education lessons with a training character, other measures are required to improve the students’ daily motor skills, among the most important being: increasing the number of weekly physical education lessons, attending sports sections, independent physical activity.
