Rezumat

Income inequality is a global problem, and its effects are deeply felt in many countries, including the Republic of Moldova. Income inequality not only affects individuals' quality of life, but also limits their access to essential services such as health care, education and social assistance. In this article, we will research the impact of income inequality on access to social services in the Republic of Moldova and propose measures to solve this problem. These include economic and social reforms, investment in social infrastructure and the development of social protection programs. This paper has been elaborated within the framework of the Scientific Project for the period 2020-2023, registered in the State Register of projects in the field of Science and Innovation of the Republic of Moldova with the code 20.80009.0807.29 Project State Program ”Improving the mechanisms for applying innovative instruments aimed at sustainably increasing the welfare of the population of the Republic of Moldova”.
