In this research article, the central issue addressed is the level to which the form of government of states is reflected within the official name of those states. The analysis of the subject is carried out from two perspectives. Namely the number of states constituting a given form of government and the extent to which this form of government is reflected in their official names. The variety of the official names of the states also helps to determine the specific characteristics of each one, particularly in terms of the particular form of government they comprise. |
