Natural dyeing is done with various plants and insects obtained from nature. Since weaving has existed, the natural dyeing method has existed and has been used. The plants used in natural dyeing vary from region to region, but the method used is basically the same. Various natural dyeing methods are also used in dyeing the threads used in Gagauz weaving. In this study, natural dyeing methods used in Gagauz weavings and other methods of obtaining the colors used in Gagauz weavings are examined. The research was carried out using field research and literature review. The sample of Gagauz weavings of the research universe consists of the colors used in Gagauz Weavings. In the first part of the study, handicrafts are mentioned, and in the second part, the methods used in obtaining the colors in Gagauz weavings are included. In the last part, suggestions that can be applied in order not to forget the traditional Gagauz weavings are given.
