Rezumat

In the professional activity of evaluation and psychological counseling, a special attention is required for the psychological assistance of adolescents, who experience multiple changes specific to their age, biologically, psychologically, socially and not only. Psychologically, both the need for autonomy, relationships and competence and (self) criticism increase, often surprising only what is negative and non-functional, and emotional instability being perhaps at the highest level in the entire period of life, makes some teenagers experience sudden and frequent changes in emotional states, from enthusiasm and euphoria, to dissatisfaction, failure, failure and even depression. At the same time, another accentuated feature is psychoticism, which is specific to people who perform certain acts without making an analysis of benefits and risks, preferring high-risk activities, and sometimes act aggressively, hostile and impulsive, without awareness of the consequences. Also, during this period the influence of the peer group on adolescents increases, so that their actions and remarks can contribute either to strengthen the perception of their own social image or to distort it. All these aspects outline a period with some psychological sensitivities, to which are added some traumatic events, such as abandonment by parents, their migration, or verbal, physical, emotional or sexual aggression by other people that determines them. some adolescents have multiple suicide attempts or frequent suicidal ideation.
