Public property management includes the process of optimizing the use and administration of public property (land and buildings), in order to identify and maximize the financial benefits and provision of public services. Presently, the improvement of public property/asset management has become very current, recognizing the need to save financial resources for the maintenance of buildings, which allows their reallocation to improve the provision of public services of major importance. Local public authorities benefit from the management of assets (land and real estate) located on its territory and are interested in identifying all deficiencies related to the delimitation, registration, and taxation of land and real estate, so as to have a source guaranteed by revenues to local budgets, including minimizing the factors of corruption that occur in the property management process.
