Rezumat

The object of this work is nonstationary ehd-flow modeling in wire-plane electrode system for researching processes of volumetric charge forming and evolution, also peculiarities of one,s moving in the interelectrode gap are researched. Equations set, describing modeling process appreciably nonlinear. Finalelement modeling package ANSYS was used for this problem solution. Special algorithm was developed. It was realized as a package of programs, based on approximation, that charge is “frozen” in liquid. Results of calculations are presented as velocity vector plot evolution, pressure distributions and ehd-flow traces. Typical peculiarity of ehd-flow is forming of thin charged stream, which cross interelectrode gap.
