Rezumat | ||||||
Since 1983, the fine artist Oleg Cojocari has worked as an artistic editor and book designer at several publishing houses in the Moldovan SSR and the Republic of Moldova. Working for several years at the encyclopedic publishing house „Gheorghe Asachi” and „Science”, the graphic designer displayed competence in the field of book graphics, a fact confirmed by the publications signed by him „I want to know”, „Literature and Art of Moldova”, „Home and family” and many other national editions awarded at several book exhibitions. At the Book Fair in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, 1993, Oleg Cojocari was awarded the Prize for the best book graphics. We observe a variety of approaches in his creative evolution. They are close to narrative, graphic and pictorial abstractions and are marked by spatial and dynamic nuances. The artist does not intend to emphasize his own way in creation, but seeks more precise methods of approaching the character and his own analysis of the literary subject. |
