Professional burnout is a phenomenon increasingly common in today’s society. Originally, it was created by the need to alert all about the frazzle and physical and mental exhaustion, due of the excessive requests of energy and individual resources. This is causing a decrease of the full potential for action and marked tiredness and irritability. The professionals in special education are constantly exposed to prolonged stress, through the activities they carry out with the students who have special education needs, due by various disorders. Psychodrama is a type of group psychotherapy, a way to practice some possible life scenarios, in a secured setting. Its techniques are easy to process and have a quick impact on all the personality structures. The man, in psychodrama studio, become an actor of his own life, writing the scenario in real time. By this study, we want to increase the awareness of special education teachers of the reality of burnout, of its strong influence on their profession, even though often unperceived, helping them be able to take the necessary measures to reset the situation. |
